We also do a special each month, usually making the most of seasonal ingredients,eg, apple, leeks, chestnuts, stilton etc.
BEEF & LAMB SAUSAGES. We also make these sausages using locally sourced meat from farmers with the same high standards of animal welfare as us.
We can also cater for your specific requirements and are happy to make sausages to order, subject to a minimum 10lb order.
These can be gluten free, lower salt, lower fat or just your favourite flavour.
Wherever possible our sausages are free from any additives and contain no flavour enhancers, stabilisers or preservatives.
Only the best body meat from the animal is put into the sausages. No offal, head meat or any other 'yukky bits' as Karen calls it, goes into them and definitely no 'Mechanically Recovered ' meat!
In fact, nothing goes into them that we wouldn't put in a pan, cook & eat on its own! Not many sausage makers can say that.
Our aim is quite simply to make the best possible sausage from pigs that have had the best possible life.
One of our customers summed it up by saying that sausages from The Appleby Sausage Co. were like sausages used to be!
